Death is one of the only things all humans share. In the depth of prison, Paul faces a dilemma: he is ready and excited to be “delivered” into death, to be with Jesus, but he knows that being “delivered” into life would allow greater kingdom impact. Do we see death this way? And more importantly, do we see life this way? It’s easy to say we’d die for Christ, but it’s sometimes harder to live every day for Christ. When we face our death, will we be satisfied, courageous, joyful, & unashamed with how we’ve lived our lives?
