Meaningful relationships are part of God’s design for us. Most of us seek this in friendship, romance, anonymous forums, or even religious circles. But what kept Paul going in his dark last days was something deeper: the Philippians’ “gospel partnership.” We must fight for this level of relationship with each other, which is based in Christ and is marked by unconditional love, perseverance, joy, sanctification, Kingdom-focus, fruit, and exhorting each other for the glory of God.
