What does it look like to “live for Christ,” according to Paul – a man who understood the concept better than anyone else in Christian history? It’s not a list of “do’s & don’t’s” or individual tasks to carry out. Paul says it’s living as citizens together in the gospel, fighting for the greater good of the body of Christ, and seeing the gospel worked out in each others’ lives. How do we fight for joy in doing life together? We strive for unity. We fight for each other. We look to the example of Jesus and devote ourselves to the greater good.
