Nicole Tatum grew up in Houston, Texas. She attended college at John Brown University in Arkansas and graduated with a degree in English education. During her first week of college, she met her husband, Matt. They dated throughout college and married in 2005. Just three months into their marriage, Matt and Nicole moved across the country to Portland, Oregon. Nicole taught high school English and served as the preschool leader at their church. After four and a half years living in the Pacific Northwest, they moved to Fort Worth in January 2010.

Nicole loves sitting on the front porch, the smell of fresh-baked cookies, the general idea of running, and conversations at the dinner table. She is incredibly excited and honored to be serving The City Church and leading KidCity. Nicole is passionate about families and teaching, and considers it an awesome privilege that she gets to help children get to know and love Jesus.
